SUMMER IS HERE!!!!!

As a Teacher---I RELISH SUMMER!!!!

I love teaching, but I love the break. It goes so fast, I really want to enjoy every second.

The last week of school, my sister calls--You want to go to the beach this weekend, just one night. I said SURE!!! It's only a few hours away and it had been a very stressful last week of school. So I had something to look forward to.

It was beautiful. The waves were nice---I didn't get in--- & The weather was perfect!
What a great way to kick off the summer.

I only got a little sunburn with a strange white slash through the middle of it!!!

Patrick on the other hand---Wasn't so lucky. The man who grew up in Florida has NEVER had a real sunburn. He was burned on every exposed area of his body. Poor thing. We figured that it was his BP meds that made him more attractive to the sun! He didn't move really for a few days. He's now shedding--which is another first for him. He even got to experience the little blister that form and when you touch them release that watery liquid. He didn't know what that was either. Oh the memories of my childhood came so quickly, I burned EVERY summer! I had to work hard to muster up sympathy, but I did. I kept him drugged up with Advil and Benadryl. It worked well together.
