I know I live in the south... But, GOODGRIEF!!!!

I love where I live, I love that I don't have to shovel snow, I love that I don't always have to bundle up in a big coat and wear shoes that protect my feet from the cold, I love how I can wear short sleeves, capri's and flipflops in the middle of winter. But, since Christmas I really think that we could have gone swimming. It has been rediculously warm here... CRAZY!!!!!

The high today was 75, We've had some 80 degree temps too. There is a cold front moving in finally but, then we have to deal with thunderstorms and high winds. I'm surrounded by huge trees and fear one falling down on us while we sleep. We've already had two trees fall in the past, luckily the opposite way of our house.

When I was Primary President we would sing Once there was a snowman every sunday... Maybe just maybe we could have 1 or 2 days of snow. It was fun to wish like that.

Well even though we don't get snow very often, here is a picture to help me remember a good cold day, while I sit under a fan to cool down. We even got to make a snowman.

I remember singing Once There Was a Snowman every week and hearing you tell the kids about the time you built a snowman. I had no idea you were that little though! You look just like a little Anna! I'm with ya though! I was sweating in my short sleeves today, but then I feel bad because my family is getting dumped on back home. I think maybe I just need one good snow fix that would do me for another 7 years or so!

Well...I totally feel the opposite! Every year it is hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit b/c it just doesn't feel like winter without any snow!! I truly am a snowbunny at heart :)

I still remember when it snowed when we lived there, it was so exciting that everyone was out taking pictures of it. I didn't remember how warm it was in the winter though, that just seems crazy to think of now. I do remember thinking that 75 was cold, but then we moved to Seattle and they all thought that meant it was warm. I put on my winter coat and they all got out their shorts!

Hey! Deming is where one of my best friends, Tyler, lives. I went out there last Summer for a visit, and I'm excited to go again. It's SOOO different there.
