New School Year

As every teacher does---I'm adding some things to my room this year.

Two things that I've "crafted" are my classroom rules sign

and my Reading Corner Sign.

My sister sells uppercase living and when I saw these I wanted them.

On my reading corner I painted a little boy reading on a hill.

Of course he is reading Corduroy.

I've got to finish him. His brown has to dry before I can put his face on.

Another addition is Fraction.

He was built by my dad when Kat was a baby.

They have loved him.

Well, now they are older and he gets pushed to all kinds of corners.

I thought of a GREAT idea.

He is coming to my class and he will be in the corner there.

Probably near the reading corner.

With a bear on him reading a book.

Now I have to find a bear....

(They are our school's mascot!)

There are some other things that I will be bringing with me....

But, I'm not taking a picture of those things. They are a little boring!

I'm ready for a new year!!!
