This ENTIRE week has been eventful or Uneventful depending on how you look at it. Katharyn woke up LAST Saturday not feeling well. It was the day of the Youth Temple trip and we went with her. We kept her away from the other girls--not knowing what was wrong-- She went to bed that night with 103 temp. Fast forward a few days...Anna then came home with a 102 temp. Wednesday came and they were STILL sick. Kat was yellow and Anna was flushed. I took them to the Dr. and he said that they were not to go back to school until Monday. That is an ENTIRE week out of school. As a teacher a week is a LONG time for them to be out. I thought that after they started their antibiotic they would be okay in 24 hours. Friday came and they still woke up with fevers. CRAZY, but I guess the Dr knew what he was talking about. I think they had a double whamy of Flu and Strep. Not a good combo. They have been so sad and pathetic this week. I guess on the upside we got it done in one week. They woke up this morning--YEA fever free--but still their throats hurt and they are congested and coughing continues... BUT NO FEVERS!!!!! That's a GOOD thing!
