The Life of a Special Education Teacher

I haven't posted in a while... I don't really know what's going on anymore. We are slowly getting ready for Christmas. Working just slows everything down for me. I commend all you working moms who seem to have it all worked out! I need to learn to do that. I just don't know how ya'll do it. Got to get I think all of my shopping done... so that's good. Kat is at ballet practice everynight almost gettin ready for the next performance. She is dancing in Swan Lake in January so our Christmas break will consist a lot of practices for her. So fun!!!! Anna and me get to spend some great time together while her sister is practicing. It's been RAINING A LOT HERE!!!! Yesterday the back was flooding. That only happens when 2-4 inches of rain fall in a short amount of time (@ 1 hr).... We were in the back as a family in calf deep water trying to keep it out of our home. I guess that was our family home evening. We were out there quite a while and we were DRENCHED after it was all done. Anna had a blast!!! I was exhausted after wards. Throwing buckets of water to the side of the house wears you out! I so love the rain!!!!! It came a few milimeters from entering our home so we did a good job! I got to order kat's ballet pictures tonight and I'll get them on Thursday... SO EXCITED!!!! I'm ready for it to be Friday and I'll have 2 weeks off.... MUCH needed break. I've had a very trying week at school. I'm very tired! Let's just say I have bruises on my arm and leg. I guess that's enough for now!!! Everyone is doing great!
