Anna Leigh

Anna's growing too. But, I still see her as a little girl.

I want her to stay my baby. Anna is the most loving child I have ever seen.

She loves people, animals, stuffed animals, babies, anything and everything.

A few weekends ago Anna was playing with my brother's dog (puppy).

I just don't think she put her down.

We have a dog, not a puppy anymore and she'll carry him around over her shoulder like a baby. She wants to love them. I don't know where she gets this affection from but it is there in abundance. I remember when she was 3 years old I would ask her for a hug.

With her thumb in her mouth she would look at me and say she ran out and and she had to suck her thumb to refill her hug reserve. She thought she was so funny. I think she did that to ensure that she would be able to suck her thumb for a little longer. But, a few minutes later she was able to give me hugs. She'll be 10 this summer. It's amazing to feel your heart warm up just by thinking of your little ones.

She wants to follow me to my school that I'm teaching at next year. She'll be in 5th grade. I'm worried because she won't know anyone. It's her last year of elementary school. I should feel gerat that she wants to be where I am. I've heard it's hard to have a child at the same school as you. But, if that's where she wants to be then so be it. I wouldn't break her heart for the world.

She is going to be a wonderful mother some day.
